Looking forward to seeing the film

We have been working on our film about the history of the cinema in Sawston for several months with Peter Harmer, and this week we will get to see what it looks like, as we’re going to show an early cut at our regular film club meeting on Thursday. Apart from being really exciting, it will also give us a chance to see what we need to change in time for the firt public screening in July.

Hello, today we learnt how to edit our film. The film consited of many of people acting out older residents’ memories of the cinema. We learnt how to cut and change parts of the film, by using adobe premiere software. The new equipment we have learnt to use will enable us to make professional looking films and footage in the very near future. In our documentary we will be presenting memories and historical conversations between Henry Morris and Henry Spicer.

Getting a Logo for the Project!

We want to get a logo for our project and so we spent some time talking about what the logo might look like. We worked in small groups to make designs and we talked about them. It was quite difficult as you have to think about colour and shape.
