Projecting the Past Screening

Projecting the Past

Projecting the Past

Projecting the Past is the first film to be produced at Sawston Cinema. The film was supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund. Made by students from Sawston Village College and older members of the local community working with professional filmmaker Peter Harmer, the film both traces the history of cinema locally and recreates the memories of some of the people who both worked and visited the original cinema in Sawston. This screening offers an insight into Sawston’s unique cinema past and will be enjoyed by all ages. Not to be missed.

See ‘Projecting the Past’ on Tuesday 7 July at 6.30pm. Tickets are available from Sawston Village College reception during schoolhours and to reserve via telephone and email. Contact Lesley Morgan on 01223 712825 or email lmorgan@sawstonvc.org.

Tickets are also available on the door. Tickets: £3.00/2.00 concs.
