After all our hard work it was fantastic to see an audience watching a real film on the screen in the cinema!

On November 6 we carried on with our training about how to run a cinema. Bill Thompson from the Cambridge Film Trust talked about budgets and how we can work out whether we are making enough money to run screenings in the cinema, and we decided to ask everyone coming to the the taster screening on Sunday how much they would pay for tickets, how often they would come to the cinema and whether they would buy popcorn or sweets.

Tony Jones, who runs the Cambridge Film Festival, was our invited speaker and he talked about what we need to do on Sunday to get everything ready to show films. It was a really useful planning session for us all.
